Ireland’s interest rates are a rip off.
The gouging of Irish consumers, by greedy banks, has to come to an end.

Irish mortgage holders are being ripped off by the banks. On average, we pay twice the interest rate that our neighbours living in the rest of the European Union pay.
The upshot of this is higher repayments for longer – reducing the amount of money in people’s pockets every month to enjoy life and invest in their families.
Europe has a role to play. There needs to be a functioning European Mortgage Market where Irish homebuyers can obtain mortgages off Danish banks, and vice versa.
I believe that I can shine a light on this problem, but more importantly find solutions.
